Things I should look at when buying a motorcycle?
I'm going to go look at a motorcycle I might buy today and while I am trying to get a mechanic to come with me I'm not sure he'll go. So if I do go by myself what are some of the key things I should keep an aye out for in a used motorcycle? What's good, what's bad? I'm familiar with some basics but I'd like a good run down. How to tell if odometer has been altered?
Hi, I'm about to buy a used motorcycle but it has unusually low miles. It's a 07 zx6r with 2.5k miles. That's 500 a year. I ride 2.5k miles a month. So I think there's been some foul play with this bike. It's so easy to disconnect the speedometer and stop the miles from climbing to increase the value of the motorcycle. Besides checking the sprocket and chain wear, tire wear, is there anything else I can look to check the real mileage?

Is this a good deal for a used motorcycle?
I'm looking at a used 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250r with 1900 miles on it, blue color, no damage and all stock I think. They are selling it for $3700 Can I get it for $3k Will I outgrow it? And will it be too small on me? I am 6'0" tall and 175 lbs ( male). I'm a fairly new rider( couple years). I will mainly use it for commuting, maybe I'll get on the interstate for a couple minuets but that's all. Ok thanks Steven. I'm looking for a standard sport bike that sits upright and not a back breaker.
