What to check for when looking at a used bike?
I am going to go look at a 2009 Ducati monster 696 with only 1200 miles on it. Considering that the bike has so few miles on it, I am concerned that there may be problems from it sitting for too long. Can someone tell me what potential problems to look for that may have occurred from sitting.
I am going to check the VIN, tires, odometer, but are there some other vital things that I should check for to make sure the bike is in good condition?
Also, in your opinion, do you think $6300 is a fair price for a bike that cost $9000 new in 2009? Thanks in advance.
