The Difference between Electric Bikes and scooters, motorcycles

An electric bike can simply be confused with other vehicles like scooters or motorcycles. However, they are not at all the same thing. Many people like to use an electric bike because that they can get around easy without having to depend on a car. There are many rules involved when riding an electric bike. Make sure that you know all of those rules and laws for where you live. Many electric bike owners have had the misfortune of receiving tickets after disobeying laws that they hadn't been aware of.

An electric bike is much cheaper to power than a scooter or motorcycle. It is not a vehicle in any way. All it requires is the ability to recharge. Electric bikes do not require any fuel at all and this is one reason why many people choose them. It can save a lot of money on gas and car expenses if you do not have all that far to go to get to work or school. Comparing to e-bike motorcycles is more expensive. An electric bike is a fantastic green option for those that are seeking a clean way to get around without harming the environment.

An electric bike experiences much less reduction than a car or a scooter since it is fundamentally just a good bicycle that is powered, if it is kept in good shape the resale value reduce minimally. Though some states may require that an electric bike be registered, they usually do not. And they rarely ever require any form of insurance since it is a bicycle that has been electrically equipped. A regular bicycle can be turned into an electric bike by purchasing a conversion kit. This makes electric bikes a transportation method all their own. Motorbikes and scooters are not at all in the same class. The advantages of an electric bike are apparent. They can squeeze into all of those tiny spaces a car or motorbike never could and they are environmentally friendly.

scooter/motorcycle parking?
so i took my driving test and i know better than not to park where the handicap people park well where the square with lines is at. But recently ive passed by stores and ive seen guys in scooters park on the top guess sidewalk of the store and people with those kawasaki ninja cycles parked where you usually put ur bikes.my question being IS THAT A GOOD PLACE TO PARK ? of course i think it looks stupid and funny but it would sure help to either do the sidewalk or near the bicycles cus some people just break things on your stuff happend 3 times already

How much vodka would a 500lb black bear need to drink to get a DUI?
Seems to me that Russians like to drink, they also like to put bears into the circus and drive scooter, motorcycles and cars around and around. Anyone here have experience with trained bears and how much it takes for them to get impaired? Do they get silly or angry when they are drunk? I know during last summer many of the wild bears in BC got wasted eating thousands and thousands of lbs of berries, but I wasn't able to test their blood alcohol level, nor see how well they drive bc they wouldn't let me get close enough. Just to let you know there is about 200,000 black bears here in BC, so obviously it was mostly bears living near Whistler and other resorts that were interested. Class 7 allows riding a moto without supervision, but no night riding or taking passengers, until the 2nd road test. BAC allowed is .08, (new warning limit is .05) and I guess at this point with the Olympics over the bear will be riding his motorcycle from the closing ceremonies in downtown Vancouver after we find a way to steal him back from the "Russia House". We're actually going to put him on a 400cc scooter because bears can't learn to shift, mostly just hold on, turn the throttle and hand brake when they are scared. The thing is they are pretty tough when they crash but they have lots of unnecessary crashes as they hit the breaks at the last minute.

Commuting on a scooter/motorcycle. or public transportation, because every morning I find myself running around and jumping from one subway to another or switching between bus's. should i get a scooter, motorcycle, or atv?
I'm looking to save some gas from my gashog truck. I have a chance to get a 1983 Yamaha XC180 Scooter with 4700 miles for $700. I can get a 1983 Yamaha Virago 500 with 6800 miles for $1500. I can also get a 1999Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 ATV with 4300 miles for $1500 although it is not street legal they say for an extra $100 it could be. Just wanting to know the opinion of other people as to what they would do...I'm kind of tossed up between all 3 of them.
