But the problem with Harley Davidson for the normal consumer is that these bikes are very expensive. Especially if you want a bulky fully decked out version. Of course you may like to look at the entry level Harley. But even these bikes are on the pricey side. Knowing this what other options do you have.

But in some occasions you will find a salvage Harley that just does not need so much to get it back running. It may be the case that the salvage Harley is a recovered stolen bike and the insurance company worked out a deal with the owner to get a payoff of the bike. Now, the insurance company is just trying to get the bike off of its books. This is a perfect opportunity for you the consumer. The bank is motivated to release the bike at a significant discount. You just have to know how to put in a bid that the bank will accept.

Auctions are another option for finding Harley Salvage For Sale. Sites like eBay has a number of salvage Harley that are ready for purchase. Once again it is about producing the right price to get your hands on the bike.

Is a salvaged motorcycle recommended?
Im planning to buy a 1999 750 GSXR motorcycle. And the owner dropped it about a year ago, so I'm sure it has a salvaged title. Im going to use it to go to work and school. Is this recommended or should I look for a bike with a clean title? & if its not, why? Also what benefits would I lose if I get it insured with a bad title? Thanks for the help

In Alabama, among other laws, State laws require that you place a $10,000 Surety bond in order to obtain a rebuilders license. Is there a way to work around going through this hassle, and have someone else who already has this license or a repair shop rebuild it?

Where to buy a flood salvage motorcycle at auction?
Does anyone have a good website to buy a salvage motorcycle? I'm not interested in paying a monthly fee to get the info as to where they are auctioning them off. I'm looking for police confiscated motorcycles or insurance salvage or repo bikes. There are a lot of websites that want you to pay for the information & I'm not interested in that scam. For example: www.readytofix.com I live in the Atlanta Georgia area and I'm looking for a winter fix-er-uper project. Last winter I rebuilt a Honda CBR600 F3, it turned out nice and I'm looking to do the same. I'd like to try and find a flood motorcycle, the plastic gets expensive to replace on crashed bikes, so I would rather strip down a good bike and get it running without all the hastle and expense of a total wreck again. Any help or recommended websites would be appreciated. I've called every auction house in town and no one knows where they auction off bikes??? Thanks,
