First off, he CLAIMS to teach the word of God, but his actions say otherwise. For example, he has done the following- Disrespected my parents for walking out of the service early (They are VERY busy people and I respect them for that.). As they were walking out, he said, "It looks like somebody doesn't want to hear the word of God.". NO, Buddy- They just don't want to hear a wolf in sheep's clothing blab on about how God is protecting him from the urge to buy a new Harley (BTW, I don't have anything against motorcycles.). He talks about materialistic things (such as purchasing a new motorcycle). I don't think a Pastor should talk about stuff like that. He should be talking about God. He talks about how much money the Church made. It sickens me when he throws in a percentage. I know where the remainder of the tithing money goes to- Him. That means that when he says, "There's been a 40% increase in tithing since last year.", he really means, "Yeah, Baby!!! Those suckers just made me 40% richer than last year!!! Now, I'm gonna go brag about it!!!". He throws what I say RIGHT back in my face, without considering that I may have a valid point. In fact, he goes as far as getting members of the congregation to laugh at me. Once, a homeless guy wandered in and asked the Pastor if he could speak. The Pastor allowed him to, but then abruptly demanded that the man give him back the mic. Sad thing was, he then asked some other staff members to throw him out. Honestly, I would've rather listened to the homeless man. That's because I FELT in my heart that what the man was saying was the Word of God. He didn't waltz in and say, "God isn't real. Be an Atheist.". The homeless man said, "Jesus has died for your Sins. Those who have faith in Him shall have everlasting life.". Something in me KNEW that he was speaking the Truth, but the Pastor didn't let him finish. The Pastor then turned to the Congregation and said, "Satan must have sent that man because I am teaching you the Truth and he doesn't want you to hear it.". I saw the homeless man later on and he looked like he wasn't even CAPABLE of thinking for himself. Seeing that reminded me off the awesome power of God and what He can do to people. I think that was also PROOF that God has an AWESOME sense of humor. Think about it- Instead of bringing in some angelic being of Divine Light, he brought in a smelly homeless guy. I think that was a test of Faith. Everybody would've listened to an Angel. By using a homeless guy, I believe that God had, ultimately, tested everyone's Faith in Him. So, is my Pastor a Fool or what? In fact, when he first spoke at our Church, something in me told me that he was up to no good. I am aware that I'm faulty. I believe that when the time is right, God will heal me. I know that it's disrespectful to leave Church early, but if you consider the fact that my parents took time out of their busy schedules to come to the Service with me, you'd see my point. To be honest, I liked the interim {astor better. He was very wise and treated the congregation with respect. In fact, he had a way of explaining God's Word that had almost NOTHING to do with money or material possessions. For example, he spoke about how he had accidently left the window open and some little bugs were on his wife's pillow. When he picked up the bugs to put them back outside, he was struck by the thought that God was so powerful that he could pick up Satan JUST like he (the Interim Pastor) had picked up the little bugs. It struck me as one of the WISEST things I had ever heard somebody say about God.
