More Tips On Online Motorcycle Shopping

Shopping online for a motorcycle might constitute a very thrilling and rewarding exploit if and only if you carry out the correct research. There are a number of resources over the web for you. You can either choose a site that offers a particular make or one that offers so many makes. Sites also differ form those that offer brand new to those that offer used bikes. The choice of shopping online may never be the best, but if that is your option, then watch out for the following tips.

The fact that you are or will never be in contact with the seller is a reason for you to demand for an extended warranty or a return policy. The provisions and extent of the warranty must be reasonable enough to allow you to have a check on the bike. Remember that if the dealer is far off, damages resulting from shipping and other handling either due to negligence or natural wear and tear may occur. You are not so eager to have a bike; you are also ready to have a bike in good condition.

Do you know that viewing a picture of your intended bike over the net is no guarantee that you have carried out as much as necessary inspection of the bike? There may be certain devices such as electronic security tools and other gadgets which you will want to adapt to your bike. It will be impossible to evaluate this when shopping online.

The internet is so vast for you to make the most of everything. Thus do not base your judgment on what you read over the net. Seek for advices from others. There are numerous sites that offer counseling to first as well as second time purchasers of motorbikes. There are professionals who are more skilled than you are in the business. Table out all your worries to them before you take on the purchase. You may also need a bike because you might have seen one from a friend or colleague. Ask them to help you find a good choice at a reasonable price and compare their evaluation with those of other others. Ask about the strengths and weaknesses of the particular models of your choice, ask about the availability of spare parts, ask about the rate of fuel consumption, ask about popular models, and ask about the benefits of fairly used bikes over brand new bikes. With these, I am sure you will strike at a fair bargain.

Thus research, research and only research is the most excellent method buying a motorcycle and all its accessories online.

Finance Math Problem?
SOA Cycles is a Charming, CA based motorcycle shop. Their stock currently sells for $34.31 per share and the company earns $23.2 million in net income, which comes out to $1.36 per share. If they currently have $349 million in total shareholders' equity on the books, what is their market-to-book ratio? That is, how many times larger is the market value of the firm's equity than what they are stating on the books?

Honda GX120 5.5hp Kart Engine Wont Start?
I have a honda engine. It has spark, it has fuel. The carb is not clogged I not only cleaned it and it was fine, but even tried a new carb. Put in a fresh plug as well. Fuel is fresh... so I'm not getting anything not even a sputter really. As mentioned it has fuel and spark no problem but it's not even trying to crank. Had the carb off and everything is hooked up properly. I made sure it had plenty of oil so it wasn't an oil sensor keeping the engine from running. I'm a certified motorcycle mechanic but I don't know anything about the governors. Could this be the issue? It appears to have good compression... I just don't know lawn engines. CLUE - if you don't have mechanical skills please don't respond. I've tried all the basics and have owned a motorcycle shop for over a decade. So please don't tell me to change the air filter, or put fresh gas in it... Feel free to ask questions if you honestly understand "lawn" or "power equipment" engines I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have and one thing I don't know is anything about the valve adjustment on this meaning I have no clue if it's correct or not. I don't know anything about the GX120 engine and no clue on the previous maint., on this motor. Thx guys. Mike Hi John thanks for the reply and no those are great... yeah pulled out the mainjet, pulled out the emulsion tube and both were cleaned and you could see through them. Pulled the pin from the float and cleaned the float valve, and the seat making sure it was clear but knew it was clear because fuel was def coming in. The sides of the mainjet carrier has two holes one on each side, those were free/clear because that is where fuel actually comes in because the Honda carb uses a bolt that goes through the float bowl and up into the mainjet carrier/tube to hold the float bowl on. Now that you mention it... I can't remember if the plug was wet or not. I did put a fresh plug in it, I need to check it again tomorrow. If it's dry I have to wonder if the intake valve is opening... ???

Should I buy a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 500r or a Ninja 250r?
Here's the thing.. By the end of this month I am purchasing a new motorcycle. I've never driven a motorcycle before and only have some experience with dirtbikes...nothing like this though. I am taking a motorcycle rider course the 19th-21st of this month and as soon as that's done and I get my M endorsement I will go make a purchase. The 2 motorcycles I'm looking at are either a new 2009 Kawasaki 500R or a Kawasaki Ninja 250R. I am 5'4 - 5'5 and only about 126 pounds. So yeah I'm a small guy compared to your average rider.. I'm also 21. Before going to a motorcycle shop everyone was saying "get a 250r" it will be perfect for you.. you'll like it etc.. Then I did some research and found the Ninja 500r. I went to a motorcycle shop and sat on an 09 500r. The dealer said I looked good on it (not style wise) and I was able to push it forward/backwards in neutral... and when off kickstand I'm on my tippy toes but he said that's fine and I look perfect for it. The bike does feel heavy though. I think its something I can get used to though. I am a bit intimidated cause I know the 500R has a lot more power than the 250r does and everyone I talk to says "you'll be fine" What they don't seem understand when saying this is that I'm smaller. I will fly on a 500R or even a 250r compared to someone who is 5'6 and up with a lot more weight than me. now don't get me wrong I am not scared to learn at all.. this is something I want to do. Its just intimidating. I guess what I want to know is in your opinions (and only if you truly have experience or knowledge on this subject please) is do you think I can handle a 500R ? I didn't get to sit on a 250r because the only one they had was used and being worked on. I do like the stylish look of the 250r more.. but I think I liek the speed/performance of the 500R ninja. 2 more questions. 1: I live in las vegas, nv. would i be able to drive something like a 2009 500R comfortably say to California or any other state? Like if I had a few days off work and just wanted to cruise somewhere. 2nd question.. would I be able to wheelie on a Ninja 500r 09' ? Now I'm not saying I'm going to try or anything.. right now that is way above my skill level and I'm not even close to wanting to attempt anything like that. I just want to know.. for my size.. and the power/style of the bike.. is it able to be wheelied? Thanks for any help and sorry I typed so much. Is it fair for a motorcycle shop to charge a materials charge?
I was told the price over the phone, including prices for fluids, parts, labor, etc, and then when arrived I was charged another charge for rags, other miscellaneous fluids, "shop" charges, and so on. First, do many shops have this fee, which is the same charge added to every bill (or so I understand it), and two, is it fair to tell me about it at the last minute after I've driven 30 miles to get there and have no choice but to pay it if I want my bike?
