Solutions to Static Electricity?
we all have to deal with walking to the door and having a chance of getting shocked Not only is this painful but even more surprising. I usually dont have a problem with it, but lately me and my buddy Gein13 have been getting more and more shocked. Maybe it is my new jacket, which is Denim on the outside and Wool on the inside, or my Motorcycle Riding Boots. But other then that there has been no change in my enviorment or other clothing. Id say about 2 out 5 times i get shocked when touching another person, and 3 out of 5 times when touching about ANYTHING else, mostly the wood desk my PC sits on. HELP!

What is a good Motorcycle riding boot that offers protection, walkability, and isn't expensive?
i am looking for a cheaper shoe/boot that i can wear on the motorcycle, but not have to change shoes after I'm done riding. i am looking to spend around 60 dollars at the most, unless it is something i really like. i want the fotwear to protect from road-rash and broken ankles if at all possible. no preference on steel-toed or not... what does everyone think?

What motorcycle riding boots/shoes should I buy?
I am a new rider and I got everything possible part of my body covered with gear. But I still haven't been able to make up my mind about what to buy for riding boots/shoes. The ones that look like they offer a good amount of protection cost around $150. I already spend way more than I wanted to on riding gear. I am looking for something I can walk around in, looks good, and is around $100. I am also willing to pay a lot more for the best of the best though also if you think I need it. I am current more interested in riding shoes. So tell me what you have and what you think I should get. Thanks

The "O-ring" on motorcycle/riding boots...?
Hello there are a pair of motorcycle boots which I am very fond of. But there is some confusion about the size, half of the reviews for it say that it is a half size too large for them. The ankle part seems to be very wide but my problem is I have thin ankles but a normal foot length. So I don't want to buy a half size smaller and have my toes touching the end and I don't want to buy my usual size and have an unfitting ankle part. It is ok with laced boots because I can lace them tightly to fit the thin ankle, but these have an "o-ring" harness/fastener, and it doesn't seem like I can tighten it. Perhaps motor cyclists have some idea, since these boots are for them. How do these "o-rings" work? I've googled and found nothing except more boots with o-rings but no explanation. What do I do since I like these boots?
