Motorbike Insurance 600cc ~ 1000cc?

Calculating kinetic energy lost?
The motorbike of a mass 300 kg is being ridden along a straight road.
The rider sees a traffic queue ahead. He applies the brakes and reduces the speed of the
motorbike from 18 m/s to 3 m/s.
Question: Use the equation to calculate the kinetic energy lost by the motorbike.
kinetic energy = 1/2 × mass × speed^2
Show clearly how you work out your answer
I tried using the equation however you're working out the kinetic energy lost so it wasn't the right answer - any help would be highly appreciated.

hello people ... so i was wondering if anyone thinks my insurance will cost more this year. i have a motorbike honda cbr125. last year it cost me £450 to insure. looking at the insurance this year it says around 550-650 will mine be this much?

Help schooling my horse?
My horse is very unbalanced in the school, she is a Welsh Sec D. On the left rein she is really good in trot but canter leans in like a motorbike round a corner, whatever i do this still happens. On the right rein she is ok in trot but she just wont ever go into canter... she just does some mad fast trot and doesn't matter if we're doing circles or attempting to canter around the school.
I do 20m circles on both reins and plenty of figures of eights to get her bending and i've noticed a difference in the last year but there's not any difference with the canter.
I will be grateful for any of your opinions
