I'm a girl who doesn't know anything about bikes or cars... but wants to know everything. Where to start?
Ever since I can remember I've wanted to ride motorbikes, get my first car and my license.
However, being an incredibly sheltered girl, I was taught pink and Barbie dolls were for me.
I turned 18 this year and I realised I can't even buy a car or bike because I know nothing about engines or road rules.
So, I basically need to know of an online guide or giant book I can read to help.
I don't want to study mechanics or anything I just want to ride bikes haha.
(Also I do not know anyone with bikes or cars to let me learn)

Where to get novelty slippers for men?
My brother asked for the most boring present ever for his birthday; slippers. So i want to try and find him the best slippers possibleee. Different themes which would be quite cool are family guy and typical boy things like football, motorbikes etc or just any particularly cool slipperssss. I would preferably like it to be under £15, as im on a budget but yeah any suggestions would be awesome, thank youuu!!

hi i purchased a 125cc scooter brand new in august 2011,?
as soon as i drove away the power was horrendous so i took it back and he realised hed put a faulty carburettor in so replaced it, since then iv had a constantly broken back brake, exhaust bolts fell, mudguard fell into my back wheel while i was doin 65mph so nearly crashed. iv been back a handfull of times and he says hes fixed the bike but a day later the back brake stops working......i paid £1000 for the bike not including the handful of services iv had to pay for since and he made me pay for the mudguard as well...... now hes sayin he cant fix my brake as my warranty is void!!!!!! iv stil got 6 months left of the free parts and labour warranty and he full well know he sold me a faulty bike. i need to no wot to do as i feel like iv been robbed of over a thousand pound and surely its illegal to sell a brand new motorbike that is faulty!!!!!!! im at my witts end and im gettin quite angry as i work full tym have bills and 2 young kids to look after and my bike is my lifeline for work..... plz help me ppl i need advice
hi thanks for the comments it is a Chinese bike its a lexmoto zoom 2 2011 model, very big mistake buying this bike ino but its mine now nd i feel totally ripped off, he kept tweaking the brake when i took it back but last tym i went in he said there's air getting in as it hydraulic disc and it will cost loads to repair but the brake was faulty wen i purchased it so its his fault surely. im gonna go citizens advice as soon as i can
oh and i do my own maintenance but he told me not to touch the bike as its upto him because of the warranty now for some reason he reckon its void!!!!
yea i understand that me fiddling with the bike would cause the warranty to void all i did was replace exhaust bolts wen they came loose (fell off) iv had a number of bikes in the past and always do the maitenance but as this was under warranty i didn touch it as its upto him im gonna call citizens advice tomorrow hopefully will have sum luck there
