Motorcycle jackets are an important part of a rider's attire. They protect them against bad weather, minimize injuries in case of a fall and give them a smart look. Before selecting a mesh motorcycle jacket you need to look at their important features. Some of the important features of popular mesh motorcycle jacket brands are:

It has an inner liner with large weave that encourages direct airflow and an unpadded low collar. The waistband is adjustable and has two hook-and-loop straps.
5. OLYMPIA SPORTS AIRGLIDE MESH TECH JACKET: This jacket is made of medium-weave mesh fibers with 500-denier Cordura nylon panels. It has a cool mesh interior lining, a neoprene neck insert, two chest and torso pockets and an interior zip pocket. The jacket can be connected to the pant by an eight-inch connecting zipper. The elbow and shoulder armor is injection-molded and can be removed.
6. REX MARSEE FULL FLOW MESH JACKET: The shoulder, elbows and waist of this jacket are made of heavy-duty 1050-denier Cordura. It has a shimmery outside shell that adds to night time safety and a removable body armor. It also has a lower back/tailbone pad for extra protection.
7. TEKNIC SUPERVENT JACKET: This jacket has an outer shell made of reinforced mesh and a soft, perforated inner mesh lining. The Teknic/Knox armor in the shoulders, elbows and back is removable.

Mesh Motorcycle Jacket?
Hello, last week got a close call and finaly decided that it is time to get a summer jacket for more comfortable riding and protection.
I want to get one with protection on the shoulders, elbows and back but some people with a previous fall experience tell me that the mesh jackets do not provide much protection.
What do you think? I am sure that the protective pads should provide a better protection than just plain skin... in the unfortunate event of a fall.
Which mesh jacket would you recommend? Since I ride my bike every day for commuting I am looking for a good ventilation...

Leather vs textile in oregon?

Does Scorpion Cool Rod Black/Red Mesh Motorcycle Jacket has good armor in it?

I need help looking for a mesh motorcycle jacket or outfit?
I've looked online, and I can't seem to find one I like, mainly its because I don't know what I'm looking for. But I do know it has to be mesh..Since this is my first time riding a bike, I'd like a jacket with pads on it..Armor, or something..And I am NOT asking for anything heavy, or puffy ~_~..I've seen jackets like that. I'm not paranoid about falling off, but it is better to be safe then sorry. And everybody has accidents from time to time..
So if I fall off the bike and skid down a hill on my chest, I would like something protecting my chest..
And I hate to be picky, but since I'll be buying it with my hard earned cash, I believe I have the luxury of choosing the color..I've seen these outfits online that have designs on them in different colors..No
I want black. All black. Hell, I could spray paint it..
Leather is optional..It's not my favorite material, but..Eh
Please, I need help. The motorcycle that I am driving is a Kawasaki Ninja, if that has any relevance.
