Does Suzuki make any Kawasaki motorcycles/dirt bikes?
i know that they are seperate companies, but today i saw my buddies 2006 Kawasaki KLX125 and it said Suzuki Manufactured and some other Suzuki stuff on the frame. the thing is that it is a all out looking Kawasaki colors, seat, and decals. is there any way that Suzuki made Kawasaki's recently?

I was looking at the Kawasaki motorcycles and saw that i liked the ninja ones. But, i thought it'd be too show-off-ish to drive to school. Which Kawasaki motorcycle is best to ride to a highschool and doesn't stand out too much?

Motorcycle air filter question.?
I have a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle with a 900cc fuel injected engine. The intake air filter assembly consists of an odd shaped piece of plastic of about 75 square inches and measuring about 3/16 inch thick. The paper filter media is part of the plastic assembly and is 20 square inches by about 1 inch thick. The cost of the new filter is $35/$40. Seems to me a little like price gouging! I So, I cut out the old filter media and inserted a lightly oiled sponge in it's place. The type I have seen used on many things from garden equipment to some cars. I won't need to install the the filter for a few thousand more miles. My situation is I am not too familiar with fuel injection and the electronics on modern cars and motorcycles. Does anyone see an obvious problem with my idea? I got to thinking about things such as the mass air flow sensor. I sure don't want to screw things up instead of just getting gouged for a new filter. What would be an average repair estimate for a kawasaki motorcycle?
i am looking to buy a 2005 Kawasaki zx6r, but it has a fair amount of damage to it and would like an estimate of repairs before i make an offer. it definitely needs a new clutch handle and cables (hopefully not new clutch plates), this is my main concern. it also has some scrapes and scratches on the front plastics that don't necessarily need to be replaced. i know more details would help but a base price would help me
