I Know Who Killed Kennedy
It is said that more people grieved the death of "Jack" Kennedy than any other human that has existed. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born in 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. His father was Joseph Kennedy, a highly respected and influential politician. Kennedy used his father's influence to be able fight in combat in World War II. As a matter of fact, not only did Kennedy fight, he became a war hero. Years after the war, Kennedy ventured into politics. In 1960, he ran for President. On January 10, 1961, he was sworn in as 35th president of the United States. Only having served for a couple years, Kennedy was shot and killed on November 22, 1963. The investigation done by the Warren Commission concluded that Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. The factor that leads to many conspiracy theories is that Oswald was murdered, by Jack Ruby, before he could stand trial. It is unclear as to what exactly happened that afternoon, but there are many theories. We will begin with the theory that there was more than one gunman which will lead us into the theory that the U.S. Government was involved. Then we will discuss the theory that he was killed by Cuban exiles. We will follow with the Lyndon Johnson theory. We will also discuss the Federal Reserve theory. Finally we will conclude with the Three Tramps conspiracy theory.
Firstly, we will begin with what is claimed, by the Warren Commission, to have happened. According to the New York Times, Lee Harvey Oswald fired shots from a window in the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository killing Kennedy. Oswald worked at the depository. They claim that three shots were fired. The first shot missed completely, the second shot hit the president in the neck and went on to hit Governor Connally, and the third shot, with all of its gruesomeness, killed the president. As suspected killer Oswald was being transferred to a maximum security prison, Jack Ruby leaped in and shot and killed Oswald. So two days after the former President was killed, his suspected assassin was killed. For all of the three days following the assassination of Kennedy, the television channels devoted all of their time to reporting the shooting and the consequences. It is obvious that John F. Kennedy was a beloved man. After all of the research, the Warren Commission concluded that Oswald was the lone killer.
One suspicious event was the second shot. Many people believe that the findings of the Warren Commission and the single bullet theory are false. The single bullet theory is the Warren Commission's explanation as to how Oswald shot three bullets killing the president and wounding the governor. They claim that the second bullet went through Kennedy's neck and on to Governor Connally shattering his ribs and a radius bone. This is unbelievable by many conspiracy theorists. For one, the bullet would have had to go through many layers of clothing, seven layers of skin, fifteen inches of tissue, and a necktie. The bullet would have then, somehow, had to come from the necktie to Connally's ribs, destroying four inches of ribs and shattering his radius bone. And it is not possible that he fired more than three shots because, through recent testing performed by the FBI, Oswald's rifle could only have fired three shots within the amount of time shown on the Zapruder film. The Zapruder film is supposedly the only film we have of the killing. It is film shot by Abraham Zapruder's personal camcorder. Another suspicious factor of this shot is that the weight of the bullet fragments taken from the governor and those remaining in his body totaled more than could have been missing from the bullet found on Connally's stretcher. Some people believe that there had to have been another gunman who shot Connallly. To many, the single-bullet theory is implausible because the logistics of the abilities of the rifle and the trajectory of the bullet. Some eyewitnesses say they heard shots from two directions. Many believe that shots were fired from the grassy knolls in the Dealey Plaza. Photograph from that afternoon show some suspicious figures at the grassy knolls.
Now we will discuss who, if not Oswald or not only Oswald, would have been involved in the assassination. It is possible that the U.S. Government was involved. This is the most popular of theories. The most plausible possibility is that the CIA, Central Intelligence Agency, had killed Kennedy because he gave away Cuba, a country in which the agency tried so hard to get, and they could have been scared that he would do the same thing to Vietnam. The CIA also may have killed Kennedy as a response for all the firings he had ordered at the Bay of Pigs aftermath. The" Bay of Pigs" was a failed attempt by Cuban-exiles, trained by the CIA, to overthrow the Cuban government and destroy Castro's rule. As a side note, Allen Dulles, a member of the Warren Commission, was also the director of the CIA at the time of the assassination. When Oswald was being questioned he stated that he was a "patsy". A patsy is a term that the mafia used to describe a person who they used to look as if that person did a crime. If it wasn't directly members of the CIA who fired the shots, according to Carl Oglesby of the Odonian Press, it is possible that they hired the mafia to have Kennedy killed.
If it wasn't the CIA or the Mafia, it could have been Cuban exiles. Now we will examine the Cuban-exile theory. It is believe by some that Kennedy may have been killed by angry Cuban exiles. Why would Cuban exiles kill Kennedy? After all, Kennedy did try to save Cubans from Castro's dictatorship. After the faild "Bay of Pigs" invasion of Cuba, Kennedy changed his mind about the invasion. This aggravated the Cuban exile community. 4, 000 troops were involved in the attacks of the Cuban economics. Also, after the Cuban missile crisis, Kennedy guaranteed the Russians that Cuba would be left unhurt in return for the withdrawal of Soviet missiles from the island. The Cubans exiles were not consulted about this. They felt as if they were being treated unfairly. While the exiles apparently had reason to kill Kennedy, and not much to lose, it seems impossible that they could have escaped the police, cover up their role, and arrange for Ruby to silence Oswald. It seems, to me, a much more probability that the CIA could have arranged this.
According to prisonplanet.com, reporter Paul Watson said that Lyndon B. Johnson, vice president at the time, on the night before Kennedy was killed, met with Dallas tycoons, FBI moguls, and organized crime kingpins, and emerged from the conference to tell his mistress Madeleine Duncan Brown that "those SOB's" would never embarrass him again. Having had her own son, illegitimately Johnson's, and a nanny disappear by Johnson's hitmen after the assassination, and upon hearing of the strange deaths of many other people connected to the events in the Dealy Plaza, Brown felt that she was safer out in the light and decided it was time for the world to hear her story. One reason that Johnson would have masterminded Kennedy's assassination is that he was scared that he would be thrown off of Kennedy's next ticket in 1964. Another reason he may have masterminded the murder is because he had already been involved in other various scandals that he needed to cover up. As a side not, Johnson was also accused of complicity in the assassination by former CIA agent and Watergate figure E. Howard Hunt.
This brings us to the Federal Reserve theory. Some people believe that Kennedy was killed by some international bankers who wanted to destroy Kennedy's so-called plan of getting rid of the Federal Reserve System. Contrary to popular belief, the Federal Reserve is not a government institution. They are not government institutions, departments, or agencies. They are private credit monopolies which depend on the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and foreign costumers. "Those twelve private credit monopolies were deceitfully placed upon this country by bankers who cam here from Europe and who repaid us for our hospitality by undermining our American institutions" (Curran). Jim Marrs, in his book Crossfire:The Plot That Killed Kennedy, speculated that the assassination might have been motivated by the issuance of Executive Order 11, 110. This executive order enabled the Treasury to print silver certificates, bypassing the Federal Reserve System. U.S. Marine and former plice sniper claimed in his book Kill Zone that the executive order was a plot by Kennedy to completely do away with the United States Federal Reserve System.
Finally we will discuss the Three Tramps conspiracy. Some people believe that Kennedy was killed by three people who were spotted on a boxcar rail west of the Dealey Plaza. Nearly a dozen people were taken into custody around the Dealey Plaza. The most famous were known as the Three Tramps, those three guys on the rail. These people are claimed to have been homeless people. There are photographs of these three people. The photographs cause much speculation because, in the photo, the three guys appear to well dressed and clean shaven to have been hobos. There is a fairly reasonable basis for suspicion. First, the tramps were clearly taken under arrest. They were taken to the Sheriff's office for questioning, but the arrest records, if there were any, had disappeared. Nobody knew if they existed or where they were. Nobody could find them. So much information about the three is left a mystery. The Washington Post, however, claims that the three guys were in fact hobos who had stayed in a homeless shelter the night before, explaining why they were well dressed and clean shaven. Despite the identifications of the tramps as homeless people, by the names of Doyle, Abrams, and Gedney, and their lack of any connection to the Kennedy assassination, some people still have continued to theorize that they may have been connected with the crime.
It is my own analysis that we are not told the truths about the Kennedy assassination. Footage from the Zaprudar film appears to be altered. Relationships of the sizes of people in the background and the people in the limousine appear to be impossible. The people in the background appear to be larger than the people in the car despite them being farther away from the camcorder. Also, it is suspicious that the second shot that hit Kennedy took place just as the limousine was passing behind a large sign. Thirdly, if one looks closely at the lamppost in the Zaprudar film, the lamppost has a strange glowing effect at the bottom as if it were cut and pasted. Another suspicious thing about the film is that, as the car passes two people in the street, the two remain looking towards the beginning of Elm Street as if they are still waiting on the Limousine to come. Also, shortly after the shots were fired, the people in the car are thrown forward and the police motorcycle quickly comes close the car as if the car had stopped so the shooter can get a better shot, but in the film, the car appears to keep moving. Many different people including the CIA and the FBI had their hands on the footage before it was released to the public. The factor that has me wondering is that the investigation was kept very secret and hidden from the public's view.
In closing, any of the theories mentioned are possible. It is possible that Kennedy was killed by someone not mentioned in these theories. Much has been written of the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He may have been killed by the CIA, Cuban exiles, the Federal Reserve, or the "three tramps". He may just been killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. It may be a combination of several factors. No matter how much evidence leans towards one way or the other, people will never agree on exactly who or what parties were involved in the death of Kennedy. It will remain a mystery. So in conclusion, the assassination of Kennedy is a very controversial subject and we may never know the truth as to what exactly happened that afternoon of November 22, 1963.
SOURCES Anders, Pat. "An Introduction to JFK Conspiracy Theories." Ibiblio.org. Web. 01 March 2010.
. This article examines the findings of the Warren Commission. It explains how there are supposedly strange coincidences and connections with the Kennedy Assassination. The main points of this article are that powerful groups that I explained in the paper have gained from the death of Kennedy and how they have gained from it. However, the article also explains how some of the explanations hold water better than other. It gives a brief overview of the different theories. This article is not a very rliable source because it is a website article and there also seems to be very little information about Pat Anders. However it is a good article in that it shows both sides of the story.

as the title suggests, this article explains the facts and the fictions of the Kennedy assassination. It delves into the "Magic-Bullet" theory and how it was actually possible. This article shows both sides of the story of how the warren commission could be telling the truth and also how they could be altering the truth. This is not the most reliable source because it was written by the founder of an Italian skeptics group. However, the article is useful because it shows both sides of the story.

This is an illustrative article that explains the impossibilities of Oswald killing JFK and why people wanted him dead. The author explains that is was a way to control the power of the president. This is a pretty reliable source. The author, from 1955 to December 31, 1963, was the Focal Point (liason) officer between the Pentagon and the CIA. During 1962 and 1963 he was Director of Special Plans (clandestine operations) in the office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This article explains the events that happened that day in Dallas with the assumption that the Warren Commission was telling the truth. The main points of this article is not to delve into the conspiracies of the death of Kennedy, however, it shows the impact it had on many people. This article is very factual. However it is not the most reliable source as far as conspiracy theories but the information I used from this article is fairly reliable because I see no possible reason the author would want to lie about the information I obtained from this article. Overall, this article is somewhat reliable because it was written by the man who wrote the first New York Times article about the death of Kennedy, however, the fact that he works for a newspaper company lessons its reliability.

This article was written by a professor at the University of Georgia School of Law. It was originally published in The Athens Observer in 1983. This article explains how the Warren Commission was wrong when it claimed that Lee Harvey was the only gunman. The author states that the Warren Commission was unaware of the police tapes that existed. This article is not a very reliable source because it was originally posted in a newspaper, but it does make some good points.
