Do "Poser" bikers annoy you too??
My brother in law bought a Harley 2 years ago. Now every shirt he wears says Harley on it, he owns a gazillion Harley accessories, etc. One of his wedding pictures has he and his bride on the Harley. However, this guy embodies NONE of the "rugged individualist" that the image portrays. 1 He drops his Harley and breaks his leg....then makes up an elaborate story about how he broke it playing sports....because this 40 year old is too afraid to tell his dad the truth....knowing the dad [who suggested he start with a smaller bike and learn how to control it before getting a bigger bike] will tell him "I told you so". 2 His hair is about 1" long, but it takes him 15 minutes to blow-dry and style it. 3 His idea of "roughing it" is a hotel without room service. 4 He wouldn't even know how to change spark plugs or check the oil. He's worse the the Wm H Macy character in Wild Hogs. I give him tons of crap about it. What do you REAL bikers think about Posers like him?? First, he's my wife's brother, not my sister's husband; no one in my family picked him. I give him crap because although he has money for Harley stuff...his wife's car, their home, and his kids? bicycles are falling apart....and he does nothing [do the work or pay for it] about it. If he put out half the effort to fit the image that he tries to portray, I would have no problem with it [OK, for the 15 minutes to dry his hair, I would]. Owning and riding the Harley is fine....if he were not falling behind on his responsibilities as a husband and parent, I wouldn't give him crap. Ironically, his kids are becoming the "rugged individualists" that he is not.....mostly because he neglects them so badly that they've become very resourceful and independent. As to what I ride, I'm a Jeep guy. I own a '47 CJ2A, and built it from the ground up. I also own a 68 F250, also built it myself. Still, it?s not my whole life, and my wife?s car, our home, and my kids? bikes are all working. Second, the reason I don't have my email or IM link is because I already get enough email. As far as bravery, I give this guy crap to his face...but also have offered several times to help him with the car, home and kids' bikes...but he can't be bothered. Anyway, I think his wife is about to toss his sorry ass out the door

Supercharger for 2010 Victory Hammer S?
Hello, I recently purchased a 2010 Victory Hammer S. I love the bike, it's wicked powerful as it is, but as a point of curiosity, can someone please help me find a supercharger for it? (For the Victory Freedom 106ci V-Twin engine) A link, a name, anything would be helpful. I looked into ProCharger, but from what I can tell, they only make Harley accessories.
