What Are The Different Kinds Of Mountain Bikes
Mountain biking is just plain fun. It is great exercise and you get to be outdoors in the fresh air. For many, mountain biking is a really popular hobby, and there a bikes in many different varieties that appeal to the style of each individual rider. With many different kinds of mountain bikes to choose from, more bikers are taking to the sport. You will find that most mountain bikes are also cross country bikes. This determination is made because even though they may look like a heavier bike, most mountain bikes are actually lightweight. Riders find that it is easier to ride a cross country bike because they can navigate over most any terrain. Another popular kind of mountain bike is the downhill bike. These bikes are for more professional mountain bikers that crave the adrenaline rush of biking down steep hills. They also make good racing bikes, but are not ideal for uphill climbs. A downhill bike will often have disc brakes, front and rear suspension, and are usually custom made. The disc brakes are often hydraulic, and offer the rider the convenience of stopping at higher speeds. They are also a heavier style of mountain bike. Trail mountain bikes are very similar to downhill bikes because they are generally bikes that the pros use for long distance riding. Trail bikes have a softer suspension system that helps you to manage obstacles more smoothly. These are also generally custom made bikes with a stronger frame, and sturdier accessories. Freeride mountain bikes are also similar to downhill bikes as they are a heavier bike. These types of mountain bike are easier to pedal because they are made for long distance riders. Think of the freeride bike as a cross between the cross country and downhill bike. Dirt jump mountain bikes are another interesting mountain bike that is used for jumping and street riding. These are generally the bikes you see the stunt kids riding. They are larger BMX type mountain bikes with front suspension. Dirt jump bikes also have a stronger frame to cushion the impact of jumps and stunt riding. Whether you are new to mountain biking or a veteran biker, there are a few great kinds of mountain bikes to suit your own personal riding style. It is important to know what kind of riding you will be doing to select the perfect type of mountain bike.

What Should I do with my Life?
I am 16 years old and live in the United States. Ive been doing some serious thinking and cant make up my mind on what I want to do when i get out in the world. I really want to be any of these:
1) Spend all my freetime learning more advanced 3D CGI and work at Pixar Animation studios after Art College.
2) Move to Japan (I have been learning Japanese) and start a Custom Sport Bike motorcycle shop.
3) Get Certified to be a mechanic and work in a shop and see what happens.
I love motorcycles, cars and Computers. But i also love movies. Ahh when looking at those remember that I love to do all of the above equally. Opinions plz?

rear extension on motorcycle?
i've seen people extend the rear wheel on some custom sports bike. What is this and what is it called? does it affect performance? i was wondering if it made it more interesting to do a wheelie on one....

What is the best place to sell a high dollar custom crotch rocket?
My friend bought a show quality custom sport bike a year ago and has had his glory with it, 04 gsxr 1000. It's completely custom from head to toe and has been featured in magazines and stuff.
Does anyone know the best web site to sell an almost kinda famous bike like this? I put it on craigslist but don't think the right market would be there because it's not nationwide. He wants to sell it to a total enthusiast like he is.

Not trying to spam it or sell it here but these are the pictures etc that I took the other day to show you the quality of the bike. Ebay hits so hard with fees that I don't want to list it there unless I hear of some success from this question I guess.
