The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 Motocycle
Positioned to compete with the likes of the Honda Shadow Spirit, the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 is a ride that takes the middleweight factory custom look and turns it up a notch. While the 903cc V-twin is hardly a scorching ride in the company of the 2-liter bikes currently available, it does provide plenty of power in a package that has a ton of drag-bike style. The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 is a great cruiser for riders who think that the Vulcan Classic's styling is just a hair too traditional. Cast wheels and plenty of chrome parts make further customization largely a matter of personal preference, though too much more chrome on the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 might just threaten to begin that look that riders really want to avoid- the "Me-too" look. A special edition of the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 is available for $400 more, adding blacked-out chrome parts, orange valve covers, and flat black paint, making for a nicely aggressive looking ride.
The beating heart of the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 is a four stroke, liquid cooled single over head camshaft V-twin engine that produces 58.2 lb/ft of torque at 3, 500 RPM. With liquid cooling, electronic fuel injection, and as much as 45 miles per gallon fuel economy, the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 is presentable as either a slick boulevard cruiser or as a day-to-day commuter with equal ease. A seat height of 27 inches is low enough for practically every rider to safely flat-foot the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 at stoplights, while its stretched out 94.7 inches of overall length give this ride the unmistakable low-slung chopperesque look reinforced by the presence of a cast 21" front wheel and skinny tire coupled with a 15" wheel out back mounted with a meaty 180-series tire. Weighing in at 610.8 pounds, the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 is hardly a lightweight by any means, but still, given the excellent center of gravity, can be easily handled by most riders with few, if any problems at all.
The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900, available in two variations, either special edition or standard, is well-priced for the category in which it competes. Base price is $7, 699, and affords you paint choices of Metallic Midnight Sapphire Blue or Candy Burnt Orange. The special edition 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900 is a blacked-out affair, whose only color option is the cool-looking special edition ebony. The special edition bike will set you back $8, 099. The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900, with its larger displacement engine and heavier curb weight, isn't really a beginner motorcycle, but serves well the purpose of being a middleweight that riders can either step up into or down into, and makes for an attractive package to do so with, in a price that you'll find tough to beat for what you'll receive.

Are people who ride Scooters (Vespas etc) considered to be 'bikers'?
Hi! I love Vespas and Lambrettas and I'm saving up to get a Vespa PX 125.
I love bike culture too, but I wonder are Scoots considered to be 'bikers' by the petrolhead community as whole, as we're all on two wheels?
I'm not referring to commuters who just use a 50cc to get to work and have a Mercedes in the garage, but people who ride Scooters as their only transport and love/ mod them just the same a hardcore sports/ custom riders?
Thanks!
