A Custom Cruiser Look At The 2009 Victory Vegas Low
Low, slow, and fit to show- the 2009 Victory Vegas Low is the kind of bike that people just can't help but look at, pour over, lust after. It looks like the vision that motorcycle designers have been trying to attain for a century- motorcycling nirvana? Perhaps not, but damn close to it. The 2009 Victory Vegas Low is the kind of motorcycle that has the ability to meet needs and desires at the same time. Thing is, to most, a motorcycle isn't a need. Those who've caught the addiction, though, know better. If you need an ultra-low seat height, than the 2009 Victory Vegas Low is for you. If you desire a badass looking motorcycle with all the styling elements of a custom chopper but without the difficult to handle extended front forks, than again, the 2009 Victory Vegas Low is the bike for you.
The most striking feature of the 2009 Victory Vegas Low is its seat height. At 25.2 inches, it's far lower than anything else offered by Victory, affording the short of stature folks or those with shorter inseams to avoid having to have custom work done to a new bike in order to fit comfortably and safely. Additionally, the 2009 Victory Vegas Low offers the unprecedented level of cool that just isn't quite as obtainable aboard a smaller motorcycle that may have a similar seat height. Impressively, ground clearance isn't affected by this, giving the rider 5.3 inches of speed bump-eating clearance. This also contributes to the 2009 Victory Vegas Low having the appearance of a custom ride- the whole bike is set up in a nice looking triangular shape.
The 2009 Victory Vegas Low is powered by Victory's all-around engine, the 100 cubic inch Freedom V-twin. This powerhouse puts out 85 horsepower and an impressive 106 ft/lbs of torque, while enjoying exemplary fuel economy thanks to its advanced valve train design. Like other Freedom V-twins, the engine powering the 2009 Victory Vegas Low features single overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, self-adjusting cam chains, and hydraulic lifters. Fuel is fed via an Electronic Fuel injection system with 45mm throttle bodies. The exhaust is standard fare, as well, for a Victory motorcycle, consisting of a staggered slash-cut dual exhaust with a crossover.
With a variety of colors that actually puts the rest of the Victory line to shame; the 2009 Victory Vegas Low is even more impressive. Color options include Solid black, solid blue ice, Solid Pearl White, and Solid Sunset Red. Multicolor paint schemes are also available, and include two tone Midnight Cherry / Pearl white w/ a carbon stripe, and two tone Blue ice / Pearl White, also with a carbon stripe. All the choices are equally impressive, and require only a decision on your part as to which one you just can't live without. While the 2009 Victory Vegas Low isn't the least expensive bike you could own, if you are in the mood for a custom motorcycle that stands apart from the crowd but still fits into your garage, than the $16, 299 2009 Victory Vegas Low just might be worth a look for you.
