III. Chelation Therapy uses a man made amino-acid intravenously to remove heavy metals and other built-up toxins from the body. It must be performed by a physician trained in this specialty. IV. Radio Frequency Ablation when surgical removal of a malignancy is not an option. An interventional radiologist uses an ultrasound to locate the tumor. A needle is then placed through the skin directly into the malignancy. A radio frequency current is emitted through the needle to burn away the tumor without damaging any surrounding tissue. The treatment usually takes 1-3 hours and can be performed on an outpatient basis without general anesthesia. Typical cost is $13, 000 - $20, 000. This procedure is only appropriate for tumors no larger than 3- 4 centimeters in diameter. This not a cure for cancer, but can be used to help control it.
V. Radioactive seeds are a powerful and relatively new tool in oncologists battle against prostate cancer. With this protocol, the oncologist imbeds tiny radioactive pellets into the cancerous tumor located on/in the prostate. This procedure dramatically reduces collateral damage from radiation. Last minute update: So, if you paid attention, you now know that eating sugar is like throwing gasoline on a burning fire when it comes to cancer. Okay, if you didn't learn that from your reading; please go back and read the entire report again! And then there is benzene. Benzene is known to cause cancer. Every time you eat any packaged or bottled food that has the preservative sodium benzoate and ascorbic acid (a common form of vitamin C) your body produces, yes, you guessed it! Benzene! All most every packaged or bottled food you find in a store contains these ingredients. The same applies if the food has sodium benzoate and you take vitamin C.
