What Are The Good Dual Sport Motorcycles Available In The Market

It can be ridden on the streets as well, but it will never hide its pretentions of being anything better than the true dual sport bike that it is. Riding it on the streets may not be all that exhilarating, but once you get this bike to the woods or mountain trails it will show you its true colors. This is when the true worth of this bike is known and it will reward you for taking it off the roads.
So there you have a choice of three bikes. For just $5000 you can get yourself a new motorcycle that could take you anywhere you want to go. Decide on the use you are going to make of it and the comfort level that your motorcycle riding demands. Then buy the dual sport motorcycle that suits you.

What reflective vest to buy? Motorcycle's Req.'s - Military?
I know you need certain pieces of gear so don't preach me on all of them please. I just want to know about the reflective gear needed. As far as I know you just need a vest, but does it have to be yellow, or just one with reflective striping? I have found a vest line from Icon, and they have black/orange/yellow and they say they're are all mil-spec. So are any of these acceptable?

buying motorcycle... stolen?
so i have found a r6 for 5900 on craigslist, talked him down to 4900, but now im second guessing buying it for this few reasons, the guy selling it says that he can only meet up on the weekend so im thinking hmmm the dmv is closed on weekends, then i ask him for the vin, he tries to avoid giving me the vin but finally gives it to me, third i said i needed to test drive the motorcycle and he says he cannot let anyone drive it cause of his insurance and finally i said that i would really apreciate if we both could go in the dmv and do the paperwork during the week and he said he didnt need to he just needed to sign the title over which is true.... but im thinking this bike might be stolen.. any suggestions?

Buying motorcycle..............?
I am planning on getting a Kawasaki 250R as my form of transportation when I turn 16 and a half (Legal age for license in NY) and I was wondering if I should buy used or new..this will be my first bike. I don't intend on falling but apparently it will happen. So, I heard that if you buy used you can save on insurance premiums? I will be adding it to my parents insurance plan for the sake of the cost of insurance and will acquire my own plan eventually. Anyway, should I buy used or new? I see used bikes that aren't essentially that 'used'. So what's the difference. Sorry for my ignorance.
