Must Have Bike Accessories!
If you are a true fan of cycling than you probably feel that you have everything that you need once you have purchased your bike. What many people don't know is how important a few Bike Accessories can be. Following is a list of the top must have Bike Accessories. So if you don't have these on your list already, you may really want to think about adding them.
The first item on the list is the Fizik's Blink safety flasher. Most people usually just stick with whatever safety flasher comes with their bike. If however you are looking for a few Bike Accessories that will make your bike stand out from the rest, than this is one of them. It only cost about $20, and has an integrated clip system. The best part is that it only weighs about 18 grams, and gets 180 degrees of visibility. With two LED lights and two different modes this is one bike accessories that all nighttime riders should have. For more information on the Fizik's Blink safety flasher, you can visit their website at www.fizik.it.
Next on the list are Citra Wipes. This is by far the cheapest bike accessory at only $2.50 for a two pack. These are nice strong hand wipes that are great to have if you are going mountain biking, or competing in a cycling competition. You never know when you may have to stop and make a quick repair to your bike. The one thing that many cyclist hate is when they get grease on their hand and have nothing to wipe them off on. Usually you will just end up getting the rest of your bike just as greasy and messy. Another plus to buying the Cita Wipes is the fact that they donate one percent of each sales to an environmental organization. For more information on this product and to find out where you can purchase it you can visit www.Zogics.com.
The Active wear Cleanser by Assos is something that only serious cyclist need to purchase. If you have invested the money in an expensive bike and the expensive clothing to go along with it than you will want to preserve those clothes. The starting price for the cleanser is about $18 for 300ml. What many don't realize is that some normal laundry detergents can actually ruin the fabric in your new expensive riding gear. Of course if used properly regular laundry detergent can work well, but why take the chance if you have spent that much money on your riding clothes.
Last but certainly not least is the Toad from Knog. It is a white LED safety light that will cost you about $45. This is a great gadget if you happen to use your bike to commute to and from work. It's waterproof so you don't have to worry about the rain, and fits comfortable on any part of your bike. If you are looking for a similar but more affordable version than you could try the "Tiny Frog" which only cost about $9 and gives you a little but of safety light. I would not recommend however that you depend on the tiny frog during bad weather. You may need something a little bigger for driver to be able to see you. These are just a few items that you may want to add to your list of bike accessories.

I designed a triangle bike accessory, which would go on the front of the bike. Is this Aerodynamic?
For a school project we had to invent a bike assesory for road racing. Mine attaches to the front of the bike and is a triangle shape. Is this Aerodynamic? Will it create drag? if yes why? Could I improve the shape or Why is this shape good? Will it be wind resistant?
This is a rough sketch:

The rectangles inside the Triangles is a stopwatch and a kilometers traveled counter.
Will this slow down the rider, if yes how could i make it so it doesnt?
