The two-wheeler giant is already getting huge response from their excellent performing bikes in India such as TVS Apache, TVS Scooty, TVS Jive, TVS Wego, TVS Star, TVS Neo, TVS Flame, TVS Max, TVS Victor, and TVS Sport.

The new 2012 TVS Star City features new generation attributes like the headlamp redesigned with new shape, 12V mobile charger socket, placed just behind the front left indicator and also comes with six new different color combinations. The fuel tank of TVS is additionally replaced with new graphic design. The new bike also becomes Indias first motorcycle to have this kind of features. The demand of stylish and high performance bikes have increased. The kind of features and specifications this bike has been blessed with helps it perform excellent and stylishly. The customers wish to get stylish and extremely well performing bikes in India. The new TVS Star City is also the most stylish and excellent performing bike in the Indian two-wheeler market as of now.

TVS Star City specifications say that the new bike is loaded with 109.7cc, OHC 4-stroke engine which is able to produce great power and torque. The powertrain of City is delivering maximum power of 8.2 bhp at 7500 rpm while generating peak torque of 8.1 Nm at 5000 rpm. The bike engine is also fitted with four-speed constant mesh manual transmission gear box. The new bike comes with four variants - TVS 2012 New Star City Spoke Kick, TVS 2012 New Star City Alloy Kick, TVS 2012 New Star City Spoke Self, and TVS 2012 New Star City Alloy Self. The fuel tank capacity of new Star City is 16 liters (2.5 liters, reserves). The company claimed the mileage of new City is 83.9 kmpl.

TVS Motors will also be facing tough time with their close competitors, Honda, Hero Honda, Bajaj, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc. The existing model of TVS Star City was competing with Hero Honda Super Splendor, Suzuki Slingshot Plus 125, Yamaha Gladiator, Bajaj Discover, and Honda CB Twister. The new Star City will also be facing tough time with the same competitors in the Indian auto market.

Other than that the company is also looking forward to launch upgraded version of their other popular bikes in India. TVS Apache will also be available with higher capacity version soon in India. As per some news reports, the company is planning to launch TVS Apache 250cc and 300cc displacement sports bikes in the country. The company also redesigned their corporate logo. Now there is a blue circle around the letters "TVS". The new logo was first noticed at the Indias biggest auto event, 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.
