If you are an advanced dirt biker then Gales Creek is going to be one of the most exciting rides in Oregon. This trail is located just outside of Portland and is a seven mile ride full of places to do tricks and terrain to keep you challenged. If you are on this trail it is advised that you take maps and a GPS system. It is easy to get caught up on this trail, lose your way, and not know how to get back. There is parking at the beginning of the trailhead and a warning to make sure that you are well equipped with your safety gear and plenty of water. The bike shops do not recommend this trail to any riders who have not been riding for a very long time. If you do brave this trail and make it to the bridge there are some waterfalls to the left of the bridge that are a stunning sight and a great place to rest. If you skip the falls and go to the right then you should prepare yourself for a grueling and challenging ride. The best thing about his trail is that you can map your own route with the map that is located at the beginning of the trail.

Many people make the mistake of driving in the gate and you should never do this because there are motorcycle paths located beyond the gate and you co not want to cause injury or harm to any bike riders that are riding in there.
