American Chopper: America's Best Television Show?

Since 2003, television audiences across America have been following the lives of a group of custom motorcycle builders from New York on a program titled American Chopper. Originally, American Chopper aired on the Discovery Channel, but since late 2007, the show has been telecast on the Learning Channel. I admit that I am somewhat behind the curve when it comes to viewership of American Chopper.Because I do not have cable TV, I was not able to regularly view the program until my local FOX TV affiliate began airing repeats of the program on Saturdays and Sundays a few months ago.

Through the years, I have owned and ridden many motorcycles, including at least three choppers. Having an extensive background with motorcycles and motorcycle culture, I must say that I am very impressed with American Chopper and feel that the show is actually quite realistic. After doing some thinking, I decided that in my opinion, American Chopper is one of the best television programs regularly aired today.
